Supporting You Through Every Step of Childbirth

Labour & Delivery
Labour and delivery are among the most significant moments in your pregnancy journey. Every birth is unique, and the right care can make all the difference. Whether you're planning a normal delivery, considering a VBAC, exploring water birth, or require a caesarean section, understanding your options helps you approach childbirth with confidence.
What Does Labour & Delivery Care Include?
For women with a healthy pregnancy, a vaginal birth is often the preferred mode of delivery. Throughout labour, Dr. Dhwany Munshi closely monitors the health of both mother and baby while providing the support and guidance needed for a safe and positive birth experience.

For suitable pregnancies, water birth offers an alternative birthing experience in a warm water pool. It may help promote relaxation and comfort during labour. Your eligibility for a water birth will be assessed based on your pregnancy, medical history, and the progress of labour.
Water Birth
A caesarean section may be planned in advance or recommended during labour if it is the safest option for you or your baby. Dr. Dhwany Munshi will explain the reasons for the procedure, discuss what to expect, and guide you through every step with compassionate care.

Labour doesn't have to happen in just one position. Depending on your comfort, labour progress, and medical condition, different birthing positions such as upright, squatting, side-lying, or hands-and-knees may be encouraged to support a more comfortable birthing experience while ensuring the safety of both mother and baby.
